COME AND JOIN US ON THE 1ST JULY AS THE OLYMPIC TORCH ARRIVES IN COVENTRY

A Coventry Running Coach session will take place from the War Memorial Park on Sunday 1st July focusing on running technique for endurance running (anything from 1500 metres – marathon). The session will look at common causes of injury for runners, the main muscles used when you run and how to manage them, and also hydration and nutrition to increase your energy levels when you run.

  • Be coached in a fun, relaxed environment to achieve your individual running goals
  • No long runs (in fact the most you’ll run will be a few hundred metres)
  • Learn techniques for all types of running from speed to endurance to enable you to become more proficient
  • Stay injury free when you run
  • Learn how to manage your muscles to make them and your body more efficient
  • Understand the importance of nutrition and hydration for running
  • Suitable for complete beginners and seasoned athletes
