Achieve 3 Peaks Challenge Charities

Below are the charities we are supporting as part of our National 3 Peaks Challenge attempt this coming weekend.

We would great appreciate any amount you could donate to any of the causes.

Thank you.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is the charity that saves lives at sea. The RNLI’s volunteer lifeboat crews rescue an average of 22 people every day around the coasts and waterways of Britain and Ireland. From 235 lifeboat stations, they are well trained and equipped to put to sea in the most fearsome conditions when the call comes. RNLI lifeguards patrol more than 140 beaches in England and Wales.

The MS Trust
The MS Trust is a charity which works with and for the 100,000 people in the UK with MS. Our vision is to enable people with MS to live their lives to the full. We provide information that is tailored to what people want to know; education for health professionals about what people with MS need; research into better management of MS; support for anyone affected by MS.

Myton Hospice
Each year The Myton Hospices care for over 2000 local people and their families at our hospices in Warwick, Rugby and Coventry. We give support and reassurance, relieve symptoms and control pain. We rely on the support of the local community and need to raise £6.7million each year.

Cyclists Fighting Cancer
Cyclists Fighting Cancer awards shiny new bikes, tandems and specially adapted trikes to children and young people who have been affected by cancer throughout the UK and Northern Ireland. We encourage cycling as the best form of exercise based rehabilitation for those children undergoing and recovering from cancer treatments. To encourage them further we also give bikes to their siblings and in many cases their parents in order that they can take part in an activity as a family once again after what can be years of hospitalisation and disruption. Every penny raised goes into achieving these objectives.

I’m helping my wife raise money toward her charity bike ride for:
Right to Play
Right To Play has established itself as a charity synonymous with unique and spectacular cycle tours and our 2011 Ride to the Tour promises to be the best yet. The 350 mile route is beautiful and takes in some wonderful European cities over 4 days. This is also your chance to get as close as you can to the Tour De France and Team HTC-Highroad.
